FinTech – Associate
We are currently seeking to recruit an Associate to join the FinTech Team in London. The Associate will play a key role in developing the company’s FinTech franchise and they will work with bankers across the company network to drive successful outcomes.
The Associate will play a key role on each transaction and provide significant support in business development and marketing activities. The candidate will be able to demonstrate operational knowledge and a detailed understanding of the key drivers for the growth of FinTech globally.
Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day to day support of marketing efforts, transactions and conducting company and industry analysis on new transaction opportunities;
Requirements:
· The successful candidate will come from a Corporate Development, Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking or Entrepreneurial background from the FinTech, FIG or Tech sectors;
· Required industry experience in one of the following areas: banking technology, technology-led lending solutions, asset / wealth management technology, insurtech, capital markets technology, blockchain and regtech;
· The successful candidate will have played a key role in the delivery of commercial initiatives;
· Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests;
· Ability to take initiative and function independently, balanced with strong team skills;
· Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to maintain relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels;
· Demonstrates awareness of the regulatory environment and potential impact on FinTech;
· Minimum 2.1 university degree classification (or equivalent if studied outside the UK);
