Our client is seeking an ICT channel expert to join its Systems and Software Research and Consulting team. This position will focus on developing an understanding of the competitive landscape, key trends and business requirements in the ICT channel in Europe. The successful candidate will become a key member of a distributed European team of specialized product and services analysts and consultants.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will:
- Work with senior managers in the ICT channel to assist them on developing their strategy.
- Work with channel managers in ICT vendor organizations on their distribution and service strategy, developing mutually successful relationships with their partners and recruiting new partners.
- Develop quantitative and qualitative research on the ICT channel.
- Position my client’s portfolio of services to the ICT channel.
The job will focus on local, regional & global projects and will involve the active development and participation in channel oriented consulting projects for clients.
The successful candidate will work together with the head of the department to achieve budgeted bookings, revenue and profit target and will partner with consultants, analysts, sales, and other groups to initiate, develop and manage market research and consulting projects.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
The candidate will have experience of the ICT channel in Europe from either:
- Working for an ICT reseller or service provider
- Working as a channel manager in an ICT vendor
- Background in market research or consulting specifically on ICT channels
Fluency in English is required and another European language is desirable.
Candidates should have proven capabilities and a record of success in building strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
The successful candidate is self-motivated, able to work both independently and in team situations and is a consummate multi-tasker, consistently maintaining quality and meeting deadlines across multiple projects.
